Eight members represented Derbyshire at the English Winter Fair in live and carcase judging of lamb and beef. Derbyshire had some great results so well done to all. A particular mention has to go to Andrew Gregory-Campeau and Tom Etches who won senior and intermediate beef and as a team received the Smithfield Trophy which has been awarded since 1936 and this is the first time it has come to Derbyshire!

Thursday 16th November saw the county gather in the Council Chambers at County Hall Matlock to formally round off last year, receive the accounts, elect President Peter Winfield into his third year in post, Caroline Westwood as President Elect and Becky Spray, Hannah Gregory-Campeau, Helen Statham, Sue Hall and Michelle Matkin as Vice Presidents. A number of awards were also presented and A LOT of national certificates.
